At acorn4th we do a number of different courses that focus more on bushcraft than survival, concentrating on camp craft. These courses can contain a mix of the things below, and can be adapted to your individual needs

· Shelter building both natural and improvised
· Correct and safe use of axe, knife, and saw
· Camp safety and layout
· Improvised tools and utensils
· Camp craft
· Fife lighting techniques
· How to prepare and establish a good camp fire
· How to prepare and light the correct fire for your need
· Woodland crafts
· Different fire lighting techniques
· Basic knots and lashings
· Pioneering
The courses are not demanding but need a moderate amount of physical ability. Each aspect of the course is designed to encourage you to get the most out of the experience, and for you to improve at your own pace in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. We can tailor our tuition to suit your individual needs and experience.
